Alicia offers private music lessons in accordion, piano, and voice. She has over ten years of private teaching experience, as well as an extensive musical education. Alicia has 3 bachelor of arts degrees in piano performance, vocal performance, and choral music education from Oregon State University, in addition to a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy from University of Colorado Boulder.

 Teaching Approach 

I seek to create a safe environment for students to learn at their own pace, while encouraging consistent improvement. I think a well-rounded musical education is very important, and incorporate different learning styles and music theory discussions into my teaching. I encourage students to be included in the selection of repertoire, and maintain an open pathway for communication.  Above all, I want my students to be motivated to practice, and enjoy making music!
